The 04 tl already has a sub in it
it has a whole 5.1 system, the sub is located in the rear deck.

but im sure you can add an aftermarket.

You can add an Infinity Base Link... alot of guys did that to their CL's... I am one of them.

the stock sub in the 04 tl is better than the basslink imo

the 5.1 system is pretty good, youd have to change a lot to make it worthwile....

there is an av forum :P

a basslink is an all in one unit, amp +sub, the stock sub is fairly nice, but if you wanted to replace it with a normal sub in box in the trunk setup you could... just take the signal from the hu and throw it into an amp... etc. an adapter or harness might make this more simple... but by adding a subwoofer that is larger, and changing the loation the imaging and surroundsound aspect of it will be thrown off some.
