C5 Vettes
While leaving work today I was able to witness an silver NSX and a red C5 Vette sitting at a light getting ready to hit the freeway. They were headed my way and I was right behind them so I was stoked for cars like that are rare in Utah. Both had there windows down and were talkin' and laughin' at God knows what. Next thing I know light turns green and both cars took off. Dayum those Vettes are fast! That thing didn't look to have stock exhaust so who knows what else it had, but I floored it to be able to watch from behind. Of course the NSX lost me quick, but the Vette lost us both quicker than hell. Don't know a ton about C5's, but it was cool to witness.

We need two more cylinders. Or at least some DOHC like the NSX.

that alone would improve performance by a great deal and it was proven to be effective on the gs-r.
oh well guess it's too late to see how it would have been until their new coupe comes out whenever that may be.

Some Acura mechanic told me once that it just stepped the Type S's too close to the NSX in engine performance. They didn't want NSX ballers complaining that the CL and TL's were keeping up more than they should.

What a shame, NSX cry babies.

A DOHC valvetrain is larger, weighs more and wouldn't nessesarily give more power. Plus it would have been harder to package under the hood. With that in mind it would have increased the cars costs without providing any benefits.
