OEM Rotors/Pads (Front only) - $300 Shipped

AdvanceAuto Carquest Premium Rotor/Pads (Front only) - $160

RockAuto Centric/PowerStops are a lot less. Just don't know about quality of them. I don't want to be doing these again next year.

Centric makes good rotors, I'm using them on the Rear of my MDX with EBC Yellow pads. Are you looking for quiet and factory stopping power level? Less/no Dust?

Autozone/carquest is rebranded stuff from online so it's the same either way. What year make and trim civic do you need rotors for?

IIRC it's a 7G [EM2?] sedan.
Fronts should be the same for all trims, but it's been a while since we got rid of our 04.

8th gen, 2008 Civic LX Sedan. Just looking for daily driven stopping power. Don't care about dust since I run steelies and hubcaps. I need to do rotors for sure. My ceramic pads may still be good, haven't checked them yet.

This is probably overkill for a civic, but on my odyssey I got frozen rotors because OEM warped very easily. I only replaced the fronts, rears are stock. I have many miles on them and I’m super happy with them.

Looked like around $200 shipped.

I may just give centric semi-coat rotors a try from RockAuto and pair it with some akebono ceramic pads for $109 shipped. Ill have to talk to my coworker tomorrow, he has the same car and if i remember correctly he just did his not too long ago.

Yeah, you’re doing the right thing, I would expect a civic to be kinder to its discs under normal driving. With my odyssey, if memory serves me right, I warped 2 sets of OEM, first dealer covered because mileage was low.

Additional info, on my TL-S I switched to Duralast Gold pads many years ago as well. Still using the brembo stock rotors though. That combination has worked great, I drive like a granny and I get so much less brake dust. In an emergency situation, I can still trigger abs, so all is good.
