Well, just got back from the MINI dealership. Placed an order for a white (with black roof) 2012 MINI Cooper S Countryman All4...6-speed auto w/ Lights, Wired, and Premium packages.

ETA sometime in early April. Pics as it comes. Now excuse me while I go eat some b-day cake.



And no, the new car is not a b-day present for me. It's for the wife.

We also considered the BMW X1, Volvo XC60 (yeah, again), Nissan Rogue, Acura RDX, and Mercedes-Benz C250 4Matic...the finalists were the BMW, Mercedes, and the MINI.

Wife fell in love with the Countryman...no changing her mind.

Black leatherette. We considered the red cloth/leatherette combo...but, decided in the easier to maintain interior.

A baby will likely be transported often in the MINI.
