well i just recently got back from H20i in ocean city. i have realized how much work i have to do with my car. its sad to say that but DAMN i really do. So this winter my focus has changed. i got my wheels (chris knows them) the only thing i will say is the size. 17 x 8 and 17 x 9.5. they need help but that will be taken care of. my body work will be done hopefully in march ish next year. that will include a lot of shaving and new paint. ill be doing the work myself minus paint. that will be done by my friend with a body shop here. lets hope that works out well. my engine which i was spending all my money on will get a treatment but not as what i mentioned before.

my motor setup will include
k04-022 from audi quattro tt
new downpipe and exhaust cut off right at my rear axle. no muffler just a resonator. should be tits.
very aggressive cams not sure which ones i want yet.
snow performance water meth kit as well
eurojet FMIC

interior wise im TRYING to aquire R32 interior. nothing major here.

im now concentrating more on style and looks rather than all out motor hell. i recently just got a promotion at work so i now can work faster and not wait between stages right now. im not married and live at home with mom and dad. i pay for my car and all my stuff so dont give me the parents buy everything crap. ill prove it too. i just like having a warm meal everynight LOL lol.

chris if you read this ill be asking for help from you at some point since you have a SUV and i need things transported. i do recall you owing me for an ERIE TRIP HOME. haha. anyways i hope it all works out this winter.

I tried and aquired a 1.8 4dr Golf with a bunch of mod's on trade in, that was short lived though. Actually now that i think about it, i have the big brake kit sitting at work. If your interested, let me know, i"ll snap some pics

Air is for people whos afraid of commiment. LOL Nahh my friends all reached H20 last week...you probably saw mk4 gti 1.8t on ride with pink BBS...Mk2 silver with orange BBS, mk3 golf vr6 black with Shcmint a's.

Everyone has done R32 seats man do something else...Throw Mk5 seats up in there.

For wheels,17 is pretty small you'll have to dump it.

Change your Side markers to B5 Passat which are amber they accient more

The newest is roof racks.They look good, without it makes it look like its missing something and keep the badged grill, badgeless is to much work since you have to fill the notch in.

Did you see the pics of the old rabbit with the REDICULOUS camber that got impounded? The pics are in a thread someplace on vortex. Friend of mine was down there with his buddy's shop Dynamic Autoworks. Said it was pretty sick as usual, just cops were sneaky.

I like the car though. My only problem with dropping VW's is that damn oil pan issue. Seems as though they designed that a little improperly.

that rabbit was badass. hands down he gets my BIG BALLS AWARD. he was at my hotel. the car was completely gutted one seat and dash. he shimmed the hell outta that car to get it to look that way. he said he pulled over every 50 miles to check on it. the cops pulled him over and impounded his car. he has no plans of getting it out. lol.

I can check around for tire guys, don't really know of many. As for the body shops, it's good you know some people, I need a paint job, hopefully next spring. Depending on if I kick the gf out or not will determine if I can afford it or not

yea the cops warned him once and they saw him driving it and said it was a safety risk. then they impounded his crap.

 

This is so true. They are pretty good in engineering a good car but the quality of parts is crap. My mom has a 2002 VW Cabrio limited edition.

Lets just say i tried to replace a rubber hose while touching it it completly feel into micro pieces.

Don't get me wrong the new ones look good and are pretty quick but i look at quality.

honestly you love or you hate VW. yea they make some decisions on which you say WTF were you thinking but all car manufactures do that. you cant sit here and tell me that acura doesnt have problems either. cause they certainly do. hondas as well. vw too. i like all cars but my heart is at VW. but dont turn this into a thread about hating a car and telling me what i already know. all manufactures make dumb decisions we just have to deal with them and make new ways to make them better. thats what car enthusiasts do.
