Blitz GS430 Lots of pics

Car tuning doesn't always have to be extroverted and ostentatious. For the enthusiast who wants to feel the added dynamics of a tuned GS 430 without drawing too much attention - Japanese tuning company, BLITZ, shows a tastefully modified exterior for the Lexus GS 430 while some subtle modifications lie under the hood.

Still being developed, BLITZ has installed their own twin supercharger system which is good for an additional 73 hp to 363hp which is measured at the flywheel. The supercharger has a convenient electronic clutch which can be activated by the flick of a switch. In the off position, the supercharger can be deactivated for more docile driving behavior or activated for spirited driving. In addition to the supercharger, the engine package also includes power air cleaner box, iridium spark plugs, sport exhaust system and high-pressure radiator cap. See press release below for additional specs.

BLITZ began in the late 1970’s as a circuit racing team and eventually developed into a high performance tuning shop. In 1980 BLITZ Co., LTD. was established in Tokyo, Japan. The concept was to produce high performance products without sacrificing the capability of being daily driven, commuter cars. A key to BLITZ’s success has been the extensive race experience, and also the use of German made KKK turbos, currently owned by the Borg Warner Corp. With the integration of KKK components, BLITZ has been able to produce high performance products for race and street purposes.

Ya, clean install but ...

Normal HP/TQ (flywheel) = 290 hp / 319 lb-ft .
Estimated HP/TQ (flywheel) = 363 hp / 415 lb-ft

A 73hp/96 lb-ft gain at the flywheel from two superchargers is kinda lame IMO. 36hp per supercharger? Seems like an awful lot of money to spend for those little gains.

Exactly what I would want in a car, while the power is not huge, its clean and very well done. I'd rather have it that way then huge power but ghey body kit and such.

Love the twin charged setup. For the price though, a twin turbo would put out more power.

Nice, but they need to de-rice it by taking the stickers off the doors and rear end.

Love everything about that car but the tail end. I just don't like the ass end of the Lexus line.

Looks good. Chrome wheels doesn't fit the car, but it's cool nonetheless.

Why not just buy a gs460? 342 hp and 339 ft-lbs of torque stock.
