Bad Ebay Buyer

Add me the list people frustrated with insincere, dishonest buyers who have no integrity of character, or respect for rules of Ebay, or respect for other people's time for all that matters.

I am so annoyed. I got this, frankly, rubbish, lame as a toad excuse as for why he cannot buy my car...

Pedro Sanchez (
prindle213@gmail.com)

Ebay ID: therealpedrosanchez

"I apologize, I cannot provide payment due to unable to pay using eBay excuse my forfeiture of the item...due to warnings I read this as "Keep your money safe - never pay for items with cash or instant money transfer services, such as Western Union or MoneyGram. In the past some sellers have exploited these payment methods in order to defraud buyers, so eBay has banned them from the site. So I think I will keep my money safe. Thanks."

Why even bid on Ebay at all???

Bosh...Ebay bidders like the " therealpedrosanchez " should be banned. Period. I don't believe he was sincere about buying my car at all. Just trying to ruin my sale. And get advice on his own project, asking questions and requesting pictures of the axles and suspension.

Nuff fuming. Weather is quite nice today!

The individual as bidding on this:

It sold for $3500 but I will probably relist it.

It was reasonably positive, through 14 reviews.

Where else should I list the car, if there are any suggestions? I only want $4000 for the car, and runs and drives well.

I did report the guy to Ebay. I wonder what they will do in response to my complaint.

Interesting. I've sold quite a few vehicles online and never had an issue like that.

Usually make them pay a $500 deposit, then cashier's check. I give them a bill of sale and the title... and it's done.

He was probably mad because I did not send him pictures of the axle/suspension/steering. He wanted help with his own project and wanted me to send those items to him but I did not have the time/interest to entertain someone who was not interested in buying my car. Complete waste of my time.

IMHO, this post seems to be more of a advertisement for his car instead of a watch out for this ebay buyer. Should be removed.

At least I seem to be the only one who is thinking that way from my experience.

But either way, just relist it or file with EBAY to get your fee's back.

This is NOT an advert for my car. I did not list any details about my car and it is not titled as an ad for my car. This Ebay buyer was clearly wasting my time and I think to anyone selling an Acura or Honda project, "therealpedrosanchez" should be banned from bidding.

Everyone else, thanks for the good advice. I listed the car on Craigs List. Hopefully, it will find a good owner. Regarding Ebay, I filed an unpaid item claim and basically, that supposedly puts negative feedback on the buyer's account and makes it harder for him to buy. I am having a rather inconvenient time getting my listing fees back. I have made several phone calls to see what can be done about those fees and it will take 72 hours to reverse those charges.

Understandable...but the main reason I said that, is we really didn't need the video for you to explain that.

^ Agreed. I do not think advertising it was the intention, but a vid was not necessary. Removed from OP.

If you want to see the video, go to the "member's car for sale" section for a J32 Integra.

And regarding Ebay, I don't think I will ever use it again. Craigs List seems to be the best option for me since I can show the car locally, and of course...it is free!!!

And why would I sell a J32 Integra that I put so much money into? I got my dream car...a 2002 Toyota Camry. I learned to drive in one and it brings back good memories.
