Question though, I put a deposit down on some custom leather for my interior a while ago since I don't really like how alcantera gets all ashy. Would you guys, go through with buying the leather...(imagine if your TL's didn't come with it) or just put that money towards some te-37's? The leather is only 1k installed and the te's are about $32-$3700. I'm thinking of just doing the leather in order to keep some money in my pocket for the other things were going to be buying soon, especially if this is my last mod for like 2/3 years. What would you guys do?

Thanks, I hear you and thats what a few other guys said but not having leather does bother me now so I'm not sure what to do still. I can't wait to get some te's though I know it'll look unbelievable on my car.

Rocks before rims? Where are your priorities. Really wanted to see those ADVAN's on the car. Nice & fast little ride though. I'll give you that.

lol, Nice sarcasm. In case anyone doesn't remember my TL which I spent ridiculous amounts of money on when I was in my mid 20's here's a few reminders. My rock over rim choice is a testament to me finally maturing lol

Grats on the new wheels! I was seriously considering an EvoX again about a month ago, I was looking at them and lurking the evolutionm forums. Then I dislocated my shoulder again and got an MRI, found out I tore my labrum bad and need surgery done. I won't have use of my right arm for a while. I want a manual so that won't work too well. Good thing I didn't buy one yet.

Anyways post some pics when you get the wheels on!

That my friend is why they created the Evolution 10 Mr Touring, with it's amazing twin clutch tranny. Test drive one of those and I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed. I'm no stranger to health issues myself, fractured my hips in 98' so it's not always pleasant driving my stick shift cars.

Here's motivation for everyone

From what I have read on the forums the 5 speed manual is a lot more robust than the 6 speed twin clutch. I would not mind having the MR with the SST if I was keeping it stock but I have a feeling I will end up throwing mods at it. Last thing I want is to shell out 10 grand for a new SST lol

btw those Volks look great man, can't wait to see some pics when they are all mounted up

Na, I've seen mr tc-sst's hold 500 whp. There are clutch packs to strengthen it just like buying a new clutch for the manual. Looking back, I wouldn't mind having had a tc-sst but my car is special being that I added everything the mr has to it. Nav, leather etc but with manual

Also, thanks for the compliments on the rims I wanted them forever... Even got my leather seats before them which a lot of people didnt think I should have done but the wait only made it all the more sweet.

Here is my thread. I haven't updated it with the latest parts yet. I'm going to do a photoshoot soon probably after I get tint done.

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-talk-5/my-new-13-cosmic-blue-lancer-evo-x-gsr-883713/

So far I got MAP Rear UICP, Ultimate Racing SRI, Megan Drift Spec CBE, and Cobb Stage 1. Trying to keep the mods light for now in case I need to go back to stock for warranty work or service.

Te37 volk rays evo x aznbenz07 evofan_08 do luck trunk iheartcz4a vinphotography tein

Good things come to those who wait...
And without further adeau

A few shots in with VinPhotography
http://iheartcz4a.wordpress.com/2013.../vin-the-park/

My legit Te's with center caps and blue valve stems no sl's. Authentic Do Luck frp and tein street flex that feel much better then my previous monoflex

It's been a long wait for this set up, I bought three te's used from a cool member on another forum then ordered a fourth from vivid that just arrived after ordering in June. Got a new set of coils as well, aimed at more comfort for the street the, " Tein Street Flex" which are 8 and 9k as opposed to my old monoflex's 9 and 12k spring rates. Everything looks mint, and I love it so far.
Rubbed a bit in the back with 265's so I did a fender roll and now their all good.
