I like how your thinking but it's been done, I have yet to see a wicked white 10 with rs-d's in black I'll be the first. Also, you gotta go 18 or 19 x 10 on evo's because their wheel wells are HUGE. Hows the teg coming along?

Everyone check out my project cz4a blog when you get the chance.

Here's a pic someone caught of me at the 6th annual evo/sti event at raceway park in Englishtown, New Jersey!

In car video as well!

Well, actually a car just like yours took me out. A Subaru 3.0R Spec B with a huge turbo and front mount intercooler I made it to round 4 of 6 but, the 3.0R was a beast! Awsome day, for sure. I've got more pics and video Here

That's good stuff. And I always thought the way to go with the 3.0 was a K2 or Rotrex supercharger, not turbo. Anyway, I really can't race here, only a 1/8th mile drag strip.

blxmjx- Looks really SICK! Take that center cap out though, and it does look like the evil step son of the GT-R lmao! What width are your wheels?

Mrmako- 1/8 mile tracks suck. Where are you located in Japan? Like what town.

nah, centercaps gotta stay. Going w/the clean look. Don't want exposed the exposed hub.

The wheels are 19x10.

Updates!

02 spacer to get rid of that pesky cel after the addition of a test pipe.

Also, I'm working on a Yokohama sponsorship how's the placement?

Do you man, I hear ya 19x 10 looks dope. Did you ever see the do-luck duck bill trunk I want one, it would look sick on your car.

I'm down in Okinawa. The damn highway has a limit of 80 Km/h. So I play with fire at 160 Km/h (and jail time).

I think your car looks great. And the Yoko placement is good. They may want more, but that location works well. And for the evil step-son bit, look at this pic of the previous R34 GT-R:

I agree, wingless is the way to go. If my goddamn rims ever get here I'm buying the do luck duck bill cf trunk next. As for the stretched tires, it doesn't make sense cause these cars can fit 275's like nothing.

I feel you, but I can't afford to break anything. I've already wasted 3k on clutches for this puppy. I'm happy with 12's for right now time to make this puppy look better. Where can I see pics of your teg?

Wow, nice pic! 160km/h be careful out there man. I'm trying to be more safe and hit up the track instead of driving fast on the street. Yeah yokohama wants three decals one on the front and one on each fender.

19's would look sweet. I can't believe those were 18's on that black evo. Maybe if you went with 18's, slightly slimmer tires and lowering your car..18's would fit just right.

No no. Nothing like that on normal streets. I only do that on the expressway, when there are no cars around (quite common, as the tolls are a bit high). I' not crazy and going to kill anyone.

New Update!
I hit the track yesterday and got my best 1/4 mile time to date & broke my master cylinder to my clutch. I have to be honest, after leaving the track in New Jersey I was driving normally home to New York. I entered the Lincoln Tunnel and my clutch pedal dropped to the floor and stayed there. I was IN THE CENTER OF THE LINCOLN TUNNEL! Only one lane going and one lane coming, in my panic I tried to push it but that went out the window after about two feet (she weighs 3600pounds) so my girlfriend the only one who was sane at the time called the police as I stopped on coming traffic to let the angry mobb stuck behind us pass, what a nightmare. Many thoughts of the e90 335i went through my mind! Time slip & pics below complete coverage video coming soon to www.i-tuner.blogspot.com

BTW, don't go 19's on an Evo. What's the point? ESPECIALLY if you want to continue going to the track.

Nice bump.... almost forgot about this thread.

If the OP is still here.... have you thought about going E85? I was helping my friend out with his Evo X, and he finally worked out a double pumper setup (the first one for Evo Xs, I believe). He's still waiting on a reliable BOV setup but right now on a stock turbo, he's got a super-crushed stock BOV, cams, TBE, and such and he's making ~450 awhp, ~380 awtq IIRC. Only problem is finding a station near you.... luckily a few months after he got his E85 tune, a station nearby added E85 pumps!

Wasn't sure if you got a new clutch yet, but make sure you get a twin-plate clutch.... I tried telling him, but he wanted to save money for his turbo swap, which didn't work out too well because the AF ratio just wouldn't stay constant at high RPM. The damn thing chatters like crazy. His car is fast now but I liked driving it more when it was stock

Evo X is some sexy ass stuff, but 40k ain't worth it IMO. I'd rather pay like 20k and pick up a nice 8/9. Non the less sick car and nice times!

It is an expensive car, but its better than the 8/9 in pretty much every way. It handles even better than the IX. I didn't like the way it looked initially but with some Ralliart tails, a drop and some nice fitment wheels like on blxmjx's X and you've got a nice looking car.

Plus there are quite a few cars I'd rather have at $20,000 I used to be a strictly Subie guy but comparing the new STi with the Evo X, I think I would rather get the X. The car's made a believer out of me.

I think I'd turbo mine first

Those are nice, and the best looking of the Evo series IMO. But $40K? Isn't there a GSR that has the same motor and costs less? A bit of stealth, maybe?

Yes, I actually have the gsr which comes with the short spoiler, 5 speed gear box, a lesser sound system and excludes keyless entry and startup. I did however get navigation so my total was about 37k. Now you can get one for like 27k

To each his own, I see the 8's and 9's and have the utmost respect for their power and abilities but they look dated to me know. The 10 is really revealing itself to be a more then worthy successor to the throne.

I'm still here guys I've just been quiet since I haven't done any new mods lately all winter shes been parked and the accord has been working overtime. I'd only go E85 after a better turbo was added, and thats provided that they have it in my area. My best friend just got this puppy today and I'm sooooo jealous.

It's the FPRED and it responds really well to e85 but he only has 1k cc injectors and he'd more then likely need larger ones if he goes that route.
A new clutch is almost mandatory with evo's, so I do have one the exedy stage 2 not the twin disk but that's next. Tell your buddy that there is a clutch master cylinder issue with these cars... Mistu made it out of plastic and they break when aftermarket clutches are integrated so tell him to make sure he changes his stock one out before it breaks. The options are to have a 9 maser cylinder converted in by a shop called dgmotors here in ny, they can send out the part or have him buy the ams master cylinder reinforcement ring which is a temporary fix. Also the twin disk clutches have a pin that pops out you need a certain piece that blocks the pin from coming out.

Cool stuff, I vote to get Ralliart tails! Looks real good on my friend's car. And yeah, he told me about the plastic MC, lol. He said the plastic was discolored and slightly swollen when he replaced it, not sure with what but yeah it's taken care of

You don't drive it in the winter?? Ah with the AWD I'd be all over the X in the winter haha. Good stuff, I'd get a 8, 9 or 10... glad I don't have to chose because I'm poor as hell and well my RSX is fine =).

lol, na what people don't tell you is that the tires that come with evo's and sti's are not to be used in the snow, it says it in their manuals. So if your unable to buy snow tires or all weather tires even with all wheel drive you'll more then likely crash or get stuck.
