Any Ideas What This Is

I saw this car completely coverd today but couldnt get any better pictures cause my phone sucks. the grill had like 5 chrome slats going horizontal that I could see through the front camo.

piece of material covering front emblem was about 3-4 inches wide. wheels were like 10 or 12 spoke. taillights were LED. thats about it. from the side it kinda reminded me of the g35 sedan but they wouldnt be redesigning that yet. what sedans are being redesigned for soon release cause it was a pretty complete car.

pretty sure this is what I saw now. Looked really nice. thought it was a lexus at first.

definitely it now cause this is the exact camo and same wheels as last picture.

think the guy new what I was trying to do cause I slowed till 10 under and he just stayed behind and then I went 15 under the speed limit no one else around obviously and he finally went around me. good looking car but shitty projector bulbs if its what they are really using. very yellow looking.

If Acura did that, they'd be able to sell more RL's.

That's one nice looking Hyundai. Definitely took a bite from the Lexus LS front. No doubt about that.

Who care's if they imitated other designs? They took styling cues from several cars and put them into one gorgeous car. It looks fantastic.

Stop using that retarded line and relaize this: Look who they are targetting with this car; Lexus, Infiniti, even Acura... It's not 'just' a Hyundai anymore, it's a real competitor now.

No, Acura wasn't even on their radar. Nor should they have been.

The only thing that keeps me from buying a Hyundai next time is the resale value.

When the market catches up to the actual value the car is worth, I'll go test drive the Genesis coupe

You don't think they had the RL in mind with this car?

Fair enough, I can see that...

Exactly my thought. We looked at the Hyundai minivan as well as the Kia Sedona but passed when we realized what they predicted they'd be worth in 5 years.

Yeah the new vehicles look great but until there resale values equals that of the car value its not worth it unless you dont plan on changing cars till its like dead then its a great option.

As much as I think the RL is a good car. I don't see anyone worrying about the 300 to 500 sales per month it might steal. It has no impact on the 40 to 60K market at this point.

Now that I look at it, I see a lot of the current RL influence in the rear, and the Lexus LS up front, and the G sedan side profile

This car and the Genesis coupe have really caught my eye. I just gotta see what it can do on the track first and on paper, then it will warrant a test drive.

You mean he's on the list of "to-be-banned short bus passengers?"

$30K w/V6, $40K w/V8

The Hyundai Genesis is apparently going up-market w/V6 and V8 versions: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/upto...is-new-be.html
$30K-40K-- that's the neighborhood of the original Lexus LS in late-'80s dollars. The German car companies giggled- for about a year.
This should be interesting.

I give props to Hyundai. They could have given up years ago, but they kept getting better and better. Plus, they get alot of attention because of their warranty. Bigger names don't offer anything as good as far as that.
