looks good altho, its obviously a scam....these scams are running all throughout ebay....and ebay seems 2 not care at all

$29000 seems really cheap for a brand new 545i. It's only like 65 or 70 down at the dealership. Could be the guy is trying to help out some poor BMWless home. You never know.

 

guys theres no way an 04 bmw that goes for 65k and has those rims can be had for just 30k


its bs guys...these people are doing this all over ebay w/cars like the mdx, nsx, and now the 545

 

its at about $30k with 4 DAYS LEFT...it did not sell for $30k, nor will it sell for that cheap. even if it did sell for $30k and its not really a 2004 545, this is no item that you box up and ship thru UPS and wait at home for UPS to deliver it...you are obviously going to go there pick the car up yourself. once you get there, you'll see that its not what you think you bid on and walk away..end of deal. i see no scam here.

 

i think they are just trying 2 pocket the deposit


the deposit is stated as $2000 and required by the winning bidder asap...they also say that they will ship the car worldwide and free w/in the US...there are quite a few people who are dumb enough to buy a car off ebay w/o checking it out in person 1st hand

seems kinda shady, also no one has used the buy it now option either, which is a steal for 30k...i think all the ebayers have caught onto this one...i hope. im gonna have to save this auction

geez, and that person has 100% positive feedback with a score of 84, just seems weird like maybe it is a missprint.

 

The guy had to have meant to put in $59,000 for the buy it now instead of $29,000.

It is doubtful you could hold him to it for that price. I'm sure there is a way he'd back out and disappear.

 

Just last week there was a 2001 Type r for 8000 for sale with 55,555 miles

It ended up that the owner of the car had no idea his car was for sale.......... Scam. Anyhow, there seems to be a lot of this going on for sure.

Makes me wonder if selling my gsr on ebay is worth it.

 

All of those links are dead now... but those scams are popping up everywhere. Good sellers have their accounts hacked and scammers take them over.

I had found a $6000 plasma TV for $2500.... so I emailed the guy to ask him how to be verified and he went into this whole thing about being burned by newbies and he was in Italy b/c of a family emergency and only was taking Western Union transfers. Hahahaha, I told him to go scratch and forwarded his emails to eBay.

If you ever see a price that's waaay to good to be true like those BMW's.. it probably is.... so just walk away.
