Not sure how I missed this thread initially. I thought I read somewhere in the Regions forum about an accident, but never really heard much and all pics showed an assembled car. Anyway, I'm all caught up from Nov 2010 now
Glad you were OK and nice to see a donor car has arrived. Good luck with the swap!!

By allowing it to be a billable item for the shop I have an extra digital camera I am actually going to provide them to do it with. Probably going to buy an extra memory card so I can have someone at home stop in every once and a while and swap cards and upload the pics to my server.

It is a tossup really. There is a lot of custom stuff I have done that would not easily be reversed.
However, the main reason I want to swap rather than switch cars is just the emotional attachment and memories both good and bad of having the car and doing 98% of the work on it the last 8 years.
Switching cars is still not out of the question but it is definitely not my preferred choice of action by a long shot.

TSX project is finally starting to take off. Lots of talk with body shop and engine shop going well. Hopefully will get it started on in the next 2-3 weeks. Shooting for a beginning to mid April as I am trying to debut it at the Spring Import Alliance meet in Atlanta. If I miss that date it will be the Carlisle Performance and Sound show to debut instead.
Also all parts are finally in and I am in the process of buying some extra upgrades off people parting out cars as well. Might be making a trip to Toronto soon to pickup a boat load of parts.

The car is finally at the body shop. Things are finally getting rolling. Sorry just a cellphone pic after a friend and my bad dropped it off.

I have no idea. Now that I am no longer in Rochester, NY for school it could be a very long time. I do eventually want to make it to the one large import show that is up there though.
Yes primarily part waiting is what took so long and the insurance company. Accident happened in Nov 2010. Didn't get car back to PA till Dec 2010. No insurance money till about end of Jan 2011. At which point I had just moved full time to NC and started a new job so everything took a back seat for a while. Started putting together replacement parts order in March and once everything was accounted for it was ordered in April. Then due to the disaster in Japan it took me till November 2011 just before Thanksgiving to get all the parts in. Then the holidays happened. Then it had been so long I got a little lazy on it but finally started talking to the shop I trust about a month ago and they were working a month out at the time which brings us to now.
I have a lot planned and it will have to be transported from shop to shop so hopefully it won't take more than 2 months.
and there is no change pocket in the car anymore

Just great. Body shop just called and said there is some bent stuff with the supercharger that looks pretty bad. Dad is heading over to body shop now to snap some pictures for me. Hopefully whatever is wrong can be fixed without needing an entire new blower.
Hopefully I will have pictures to post by this evening.
