An amazing Sunday afternoon for pictures...................
So this Sunday was going to be my last day in Charlotte, NC for a while and I hadn't really gotten any good pictures of the car since I had put the new wheels on it and installed the power fold mirrors. So I decided to take a trip down to south Charlotte and meet up with a friend for some pictures with some nice fall leaves before they were gone with winter around the corner. Well the trip went great found a nice location with lots of nice trees.
Had some amazing food at Cheesecake factory and then when we got back to our cars the garage was basically empty and decided it looked like a good spot for a few more pics before calling it a night.
And then...................

Pieces of the car I picked up while walking back almost 200ft from where I finally stopped on the side of the interstate.

I currently don't know the status of the car. The car is sitting in my trailer and will be for the next two weeks as I am back in PA for the holidays. I hope to be able to begin the process of getting insurance involved and getting several body shop estimates at that time. I have already started to slowly put together a spread sheet of costs of aftermarket parts that need replaced.
So as of now this puts my 6speed swap plans on indefinite hold.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I was about to comment how nice your TSX looked dropped with the wheels. I feel like it's years of hard work gone out the window.
On a positive note, glad to see you came out unhurt.

Thanks guys. Yeah I was unhurt. I don't have functioning airbags in the car either but the seatbelt active force held me in place and my arms took a little force but I only had pain in my one shoulder through yesterday and it is gone today already.

Holy shit Jason! I'm so sorry to see You know I absolutely loved your car.
I'm glad you weren't seriously injured and that the car isn't totaled. I'm assuming you had extra coverage on your car for aftermarket parts?

Glad to hear you are ok man...
Hopefully the damage is mostly cosmetic and you can get it repaired easily. I always loved your car, you always managed to keep it fresh...

Glad you're Ok. That's one of my biggest fears out where I live and travel. We have 4-legged creatures all over the place and while our road system is excellent, they can come out of nowhere in a heartbeat. That along with the fact that they're dumb as a toilet seat makes for situations like what happened to you.
I am really sorry to see your machine like that.
