I really hate that that happened. Really. There is a moment right before you hit the deer where you think to yourself, this isn't happening. I can't imagine what it was like. I'm sooo sorry. I am glad that you are ok even for not having airbags.
On my way back to NC from FL this past weekend I saw tons of deer just right on the side of the interstate when I was doing 80mph. Really scary.

omg, sorry to hear man. Every picture I've ever seen of deer impacts sucks ass. Could have turned out much worse, good thing you're okay.
WTF! If I were him I'd get a truck and put a bull bar on it.

sucks, I know the work you've put into that thing
That said, it could have been A LOT worse, at least it's no serious metal work

Thanks for all the comments guys and I am definitely happy it wasn't worse for sure.
I have contacted insurance an filed a claim but they are ok with waiting till December to look at the car cause I got a police report documenting the incident.

Sorry for the loss, I worry about deer all the time while driving in suburbs, but never would I imagine a deer to pop out in the middle of the interstate.
If you're lucky you can grab most of the parts from the wreck, i.e. engine components, wheels and whatever else that's still useable. Doubt they'll total it, but if they do it'll allow you to get that 6M/T as a replacement or even another project car altogether.

Glad you're okay, and bitch ass deers these days. When I was heading down south from SF on 280 one time, I saw a deer, and I braked hella hard. Good thing nothing happened, but deers really need to gtfo of roads.
Hope you get your TSX back up and running in no time

It's going to be awesome when there is a day when most of the interstates and/or roads all have white LEDs illuminating the entire block of pavement, so you can see the road for hundreds of meters ahead. It will be so well lit that you will almost never need to use headlights. You will be able to see the colors of other vehicles. I can just see it now. So wonderful a world it would be.
