I voted no to both, but if you want an honest opinion I like the first pic ou of the 2..But really what we think doesn't matter. Its whatever you like, if you are looking to pick one up.

I'm a fan of the 77-78. It just has that 70's Pontiac look to it, while the 79-81 has too much of a generic 80's angled headlight look. Kind of reminds me of the 79-86 Mustang headlights.

My favourite was the front end of my '71 455 HO, but of the two you listed I would choose the first. It looks so much more cleaner than the second, and overall makes the car quite attractive.

Are you considering one? The last four years have seen a remarkable price increase for those particular cars.

Not considering one at present, but its on the short-list for future plans.

Its true, blue-chip examples have seen a good bump in prices recently.

I had a 6.6 Trans am in that exact gold color that I bought for $250 from my cousin. Long story short the transmission was not cooperative, got stuck at outside my high school and sold it a week later for $200. It was probably the coolest 250 I have ever spent to bad it was a piece of crap.

If I had to pick one of those, it would be the 77-78, but my favorite will always be '73.
