20 Scatpack is gone…

Value dropped nearly $5k over the past couple months. Figured it was time to shit or get off the pot and traded it on a 22 Accord Sport 2.0 in sonic grey (waiting delivery). Loved the Scat, drove it for 2yrs and made $500 on the trade. Granted, the Accord is MSRP, so it’s all relative. I bought a leftover 19 Accord Sport 2.0 for $26,500 to put the relativity into perspective. $9k more for the same car now.

Kids are getting older, college is approaching and I’m banking more for the future- and still have a brand new, fun car.

the 2023 11th Gen is not appealing at all, to me. I have zero interest in a hybrid and wouldn’t ever buy a CVT, which is the entire line.

TLX A-Spec fwd is $10k over the Accord. Definitely nicer, but not $10k nicer for me. And the Accord is a bit quicker.

plans: 15% tint all around, chrome delete on window trim and sport (black) grille

Sad to see the Scat go, but the Accord will make for a fine daily, as long as the seats fit you well @SuperTrooper169
Now, to change your CUT to Baby Shark.

I'm sure the seats will be fine for him. I'm just weirdly built I guess since the vast majority of 10th gen Accord owners are totally comfortable in them. If I fit it better I'd still own it. It's a great car.

Yep, I’ll be fine! I had a 19 Sport 2.0 that I was perfectly happy with. I was getting the second oil change done and was browsing Scatpacks. Literally had no intention of buying it until I learned the Power Dollars were still on it ($4850 off the top… $10/hp). After a little bit of gagging, I had the Scat. I drove it for a while and made $500 on it. Excited for the delivery. Driving ,y Camry every day isn’t BAD, but it has zero fun factor/potential at all

The color is pretty wild. The Pearl and changing hues are pastel to blue to grey. Loving it. Finally got it tinted 15% all around and 20% on the sunroof. Odd, I know, but it’s now just like the Corvette transparent roof. The sun doesn’t bake you with the shade open and also doesn’t make the cabin bright. I like it dark and cool.

widow chrome delete coming up next. Seeing the 2023 Accord lineup solidified my knowing I made the right choice at the right time. I’m not a fan and the CVT is just now for me. Either way, I’m loving it again! Do I miss the Scatpack? Sure! But it didn’t make sense to keep that along with my new Street Glide.Special… nice financial shift and a car I love as much as the Scat. I guess I should just submit to my enduring preference for a Japanese sport sedan overall.

the coordination of grey was definitely not by design! Happenstance actually. The Camry is a 14 SE Sport with the 4cyl that just turned 34k miles that I inherited from my Dad. Street Glide was my second choice and I found it locally under MSRP with 2.9% factory financing. Then when I was able to get exactly what I wanted for the Charger, again- Sonic Grey being my second choice was the next unsold incoming 2.0 so that was that. 3.9% paying $220/mo 48 mos ….. can’t beat it.

peace!

Solid choice in the 10G Accord. The 11G…looks nice, but CVT and no 2.0 rules it out for me even if I were in the market.
