XXR 530 18x8.75 +20 (Hyper Silver)

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $0
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (State/Prov/Terr): NY
Item Condition: Used

Hey guys,

I've had these wheels for about a month now. Love the look of the wheel, but the rubbing in the front is kind of turning me away since this is my daily driver. I don't mind keeping them, but if I can get a solid trade then I'd go that route. I bought them brand new and had them installed last month. There is absolutely no curb rash on these wheels. No imperfections that I know of. I will get pics of each individual wheel this weekend. I know these wheels are popular in the TL crowd so I thought I'd give it a shot. Only interested in a local trade.

18x8.75 +20 all around wrapped in 225/40/18
Willing to throw cash on top depending on the trade.

Nothing too specific. Although I do prefer nonstaggered wheels since I have an AWD drivetrain. Thanks for asking

I'm located in Queens. Unfortunately I'm not interested in selling. Sorry!

You shouldnt be rubbing at all. The IS can handle much more aggressive rims then that. I have the 530s on my TL with the same dimensions and I dont rub at all (Im dropped 2.5').

Roll your fenders, you should be fine

I appreciate your help, but I'm already well informed about wheel fitment on my car. You're right that the IS can handle more aggressive wheels specs, but that's assuming you modify the bumper tabs. In fact I have already rolled my front fenders. Fender clearance is not the problem, I'm rubbing on the front bumper tabs. In order to get rid of the rubbing at this point I would need to cut/shave the bumper tabs (something I'd rather not do) or go with a slight stretch with 215/40/18. The rears fit without any modification. I'm dropped 2.25 inches. If I end up keeping them, I'll prob go the shaved bumper tab route though.

Terribly sorry for the delay of the individual pics of the wheels. I've been so caught up with my final exams that I completely forgot about this thread. I'll post pics this weekend.

i find it hard to believe you're rubbing. my buddy has an IS with 19x9's with like a 25 offset and hes not rubbing with just a roll.

Here are the individual pics of the wheels. I was being careless this week and accidentally curbed a wheel. Pretty disappointed about it, but it's not that bad. Gonna eventually add a bit of touch up paint.

Believe it. Idk why people keep doubting the fact that I rub. If you really want me to explain it to you I will.

Reasons why your friend doesn't not rub when I do:

1) He modified his bumper tabs.
2) He has stiffer coilovers than I do.
3) He is using a smaller tire than I am.
4) He is not as low as I am.
5) He doesn't ride on as crappy roads as I do.

Hope this clears this up for anyone in the future. Now I would appreciate it if we could please keep this thread on topic...
