this is a very well kept item of mine, i paid 1200.00 for it back in '97 and that was a lot back then for a cd player. reason is because this is legendary for its true SQ output, made strictly for audiophiles only, the market for 1200.00 dollar decks just didnt exist back then so these were made for a breif moment before being discontinued. this is highly sought after even today because it has true well made features still far superior to that of any retail sold h/u on the market today!- such as a true analog potentiometer vol knob- not a noise emitting dig. vol knob/display like all today, dual 20 bit burr brown DACS, no internal power/PREAMP only like how all true SQ stereos are! anything that comes with 50x4 or whatever supplied amp power internally IS 100% CRAP, and not produced for the audiophile SQ. this has its own seperate external 15V DC/DC converter to make sure no matter what! that your deck is operating at 15 V for maximum output efficiency- that is the kind of ingenuinity that went into the design of this high end listening experience for your car thats comparible to that of a high end home audio unit. im selling this ultra rare and super high end status h/u, comes complete w/ all manuals, install hardware, etc... all in GREAT shape for 400.00. dont miss out on this ultra rare find, high end car audio.
