selling a used throttle body that will fit any 3G TL, 2004-2008, base or Type S models. everything works on this TB

i bought this throttle body to get it bored out but my PnP intake plans fell through when the power plant I work at told us last week that it is shutting down permanently....so basically i need to save that money

the price includes shipping and i will also throw in a brand new OEM gasket for straight plug and play. this is good to replace a damaged throttle body or can be used to get it bored out without having your car out of service!

Is this a TL-S TB?

no difference, it can be used on base or TL-S. same part and same gasket

 

Some threads say they both fit yes, but the ID is different from base and S isn't it?

 

no, they have the same part number if you look up the TB for each of the models. they are the same inside and out

 

bump! anyone need a TB so they can bore it out without any down time?

Do you know what year model this throttle body came from?
Cause all 3g tl has same part# except 04.

 

let me ask the guy i bought it from. i was under the impression that the TB from 04-08 were all the same regardless of the part number (i think just the number changed) but let me double check. i know the gaskets are the same so they have the same port.

if anyone reading this knows for sure please chime in haha

 

I talked to Andy (Gerzand) about this. He says the 04 are the same as 05-08 just a different part number which is likely due to a different supplier (i.e. the manufacture that supplies the part to Honda).

 

Thanks for the info!! I had a feeling it was the same and just compared it to my 08 and it is the same. Confirmed with the guy I bought it from too, so triple checked. Thanks again!

 

bump for a TB! with some intake manifolds floating around in the BM someone can get a nice set of spare parts to bore and pnp
