Hello, from Toronto here.
As most of you know Acura is doing 2.8% for lease and financing here in Toronto. I just sit down with a dealer today, for the 06 TL with Navi. 0 down, plus fees, 48 months lease, $600 tax in monthly payment. Is this a good due, should I get it?? Or have anyone get a better deal?? Need the car by next week, so any advice will be helpful!!!!

That's a good deal, I got something similar with mine. I actually paid less per month with the TL (SRP 44k or so) than a stripper model IS250 (SRP 36k). No leather, moonroof, powerseats, HIDs etc., so from that point of view it was a screaming deal for me. Very happy with my purchase.

my 06 TL will delivery on next Wed.
finally, it may cost me o down, 600.00/month on Dynamic, no option equipment but with free tint window, 2.8% for 48 month......

Have had my 06 WDP since July with no complains yet. Although, I am thinking about getting the windows tinted. Anyone know of a good tint shop in Calgary?

2003 TL-S 126 000 KM
Travelling a lot to Québec...approx 40 000km/year !
Acura told me last week that the tranny was replaced at 20 000km. The 4th speed is now knocking a little bit
so I plan to have the tranny replace soon ( probably just before the 160 000km ). After that, trade it... 
I love the car so maybe a new TL or a MDX...

I'm in from Annapolis Valley NS. Bought TL from Atlantic Acura. No complaints . Bought owners demo and he did a black out on the front and complete a-spec kit. Great service all around. Thinking of intake and exhaust mods, as it would compete with performance of newer Type-s for alot cheaper.

Mississauga - 2006 White Dynamic Navi. Have had it since July 1 right off the assembly line.
Best car I have EVER owned, what a treat to drive.
3rd gear has been a little sticky sometimes, but other than that the car is flawless.

Does anyone manufacture a steel rim to fit over these brembo's? I need a winter rim/tire solution - or resort to having my tires switched on the existing rims. Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Any Canadian TL'ers out there with the 2003 TL-S A-spec willing to sell your spoiler? If not is there anyone one of you could check with your local dealer and see if that spoiler is still available through Acura of Canada? PLEEEEEEEEASE! I really want that spoiler!

I bought a 04 tl and the roof is falling off. I took it back where i bought it they put double side past. whil driving it llose. Also my radio when on along with the dfog it have lots of statics. I bought it at Acura Woodbine in Rexdale /hwy 7. THey have suck services. dont buy there people

i have a 04 TL with navi and i got my windows tinted and after i read that it affects your navi and it does screw up my navi at times..so is there like something i can add to make the signal stronger for the navi so it works even with the tints on?...maybe like an antenna or something?

Your window tinting film is the problem, it probably contains metallic particles.
The tint shop should have installed ceramic based window tint to prevent that problem.
As far as I know, there is no easy way to improve the signal apart from installing a roof mount antenna/receiver which means drilling in the roof!

Hi Guys, I drive an 05 AT/NAVI TL. I've just reached 50,000 KM and have had no issues with the car. However, the bumper to bumper warranty expires at 60,000 km and and my lease does not end until late 2008. Should I spend the $1000 to upgrade my warranty or take the chance, on items like Navigation and bluetooth and whatever else may pop up. I'm not buying the car at the end, but will end up getting another Acura, any suggestions on my dilema???

Cost of Canadian Navi Update?
Gotta admit I love my 05' TL "A Spec" with Navi. However I'm VERY unhappy with the Navi. Have been since day one, pretty bad when you spend $40k on a car and have to hook up a portable Navi because the one you just paid $4K for, doesn't contain enough information to make it useful!!!
I live in Alberta which is mostly rural with the Cities growing like crazy. You think I can find information on what is updated in v3.60. Nothing but conflicting information!
I'd like to know which parts of Alberta have been updated, that's all.
And to add insult to injury when you go to the Canadian Navi update site, they don't even give you a price until you fill in the form to buy the damn thing!
Which brings me to my question. does anyone know what the current cost is to update the Canadian disk? I've heard $280 CND. If that's the case then will the U.S. disk work in our Canadian cars? as the U.S. site lists the price at $185 U.S. I'd rather pay $200 CND and buy from the U.S. than $280 CND to buy from Canada!

An old user here but been away from the site for a while. Just got rid of my 04 TL Dynamic and picked up a WDP 07 TL/Navi. Works great so far. Northern Alberta here... no problems with my maps etc.

Northern Alberta here... no problems with my maps etc.I believe your Navi has a newer gen. mapping system, so it's good to hear it's updated. Does your Navi display the new Anthony Henday Drive on the south side?
Met a guy at work today that asked me how I liked my TL?
Turns out he recently bought a 04' TL and his Navi shows Red Deer, the city I live in(my vr. doesn't)! Obviously his disk was updated so he is going to check his version, which will allow me to access purchasing a new DVD.
Doesn't the 07' have electronic noise cancellation? If so how do you find it works for you ?

yeaa...id be reallie good to get a canadian sections for this site
it would make things so much easier to get deals/hook ups on our side of the border without having to import every single thing from the states..btw i own a 04 tl with a aspec and i have no problems with it what so ever..just the navi screws up at times and im wondering if i could get that antenna ive seen on some newer TL on the roof..would that improve my NAVI???

My dealer had to install three new kit's before I would accept the fit!
Then I punched a hole in the front bumper cover this winter and the body shop could not get the kit to fit cleanly. They wanted to put screws into it, to make it fit!! Duh, no screws buddy!!
Eventually they got so frustrated they gave me by money back and I took it to a detailer who got the kit to fit like a glove!
Morel of the lesson, if it doesn't fit as if it came from the factory don't let anyone tell "that's the best we can do".
The detailer I brought the car to told me all he had to do was bend some metal tabs under the car and re-tape it and it now looks like it was put on at the factory.
