A wedding I recently attended
A wedding I recently attended
I tried to stay out of the way of the main photographer.
I brought my stuff because the groom had not heard from the photographer the morning of the wedding. He asked me if I can take photos if his photographer didn't show up. He was freaking out. I have absolutely no idea how to shoot weddings. Most of the photos came out fairly well. I had driven from Chicago to New Jesery to attend his wedding. Good thing I brought my stuff.
Equipment I used was a D80, Nikon 70-200VR 2.8, Sigma 10-50 HSM 2.8 and a Nikon SB-600.
All photos were taken with the 70-200VR with the exception of the first and last photo which was taken with the new Sigma 18-50 2.8 HSM.
All photos with the exception of the first one was shot at ISO1000.
I only used a flash in the last photo. I did not use a flash during the ceremony.
I have a whole new respect for wedding photographers. These guys handled everything perfectly. With the exception of scaring the groom on the day of his wedding.

Thanks everyone. I'm happy on how these photos came out. I've always had a hard time with B&W photos, but I think this time I picked the correct ones to convert to B&W.
We drove a mini-van. LOL! There were four adults and three kids for 14 hours! Oh man that road trip was long. lol. Good thing we had a DVD play with 2 screens.
