Some fireworks from the local country club/golf course... These were my first fireworks pictures and didn't come out great. I used LR and CS3 to try and make them look decent.

 

nokia - were those taken hand held? I actually like what the shake adds to #3.

If you're looking to get more stable shots, you really need to use a sturdy tripod and a shutter release cable. If you're interested, I posted some fireworks shots in >> this thread << with some settings listed.

Yeah, they were handheld as it was a total surprise-we had no idea there would be fireworks. Thanks for the referral of your thread, I'll make sure to get the necessary before the fourth of July.

Just looked through your thread, and OMG! I really hope one day I can get something remotely close.

 

they had a fireworks show after the game, I tried taking pictures handheld. yeah. that is a TOUGH art - even with a tripod it's gotta be a challenge.

Nice shots, but I'd try giving the vignette slider a little rest ;-)

The 3rd one kicks ass. I keep meaning (and forgetting) to plant sunflowers. Nice!

 

I was going to make a similar comment. Vignetting is good for certain images - especially to draw focus to the subject - but it's not for every shot and doesn't need to be too heavy to be affective.
