Explore is a weird algorithm, just because a photo is "good" does not necessarily mean anything. There are tens of thousands of really good images uploaded to Flickr daily, it is not an easy nut to crack. I forgot to put "in case anyone cares" above.

Also, as a car image, it's not a very good image. I mean, you can barely see the car.

easiest way:

http://bighugelabs.com/dna.php

you can actually look it up for anyone there - by default I think it'll automatically open yours

below explore there's a link that says "View all Explore photos from __________"

click that to get a detail showing the position #

Srika and is300, what do you use to make your photos HDR?

Never was a fan of HDR but you guys do it very tastefully and I'd like to try my hand at it.

I used to use Photomatix (old version), but now I use the Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 plugin with Lightroom

I use Photomatix 4.0 most of the time these days - once in a while I'll try HDR EFEX.

shots were done handheld with 60d & tamron lens. Photomatix & some pp gave me the look I wanted. Not as smooth and refined as Lord Srika, but I like it :0).
Only con is the grain/noise, to fix I think I would need to upgrade to a full frame & L lens. :0(

Grain/noise are the byproduct of HDR processing.

It looks like you're shooting into the sun? That just means there is significant dynamic range between the bright sun and the darker sky. You can use noise reduction software to fix all that.

srika do you have actual access to the top of the building or do you just try for the heck of it to see if you can access the roof? I really wanna take those high rise shots in LA

if you're talking about post #1268, that is just the observation deck of the Sears Tower. I have only had roof access to a building once. It was because a friend worked there.

Depends on how badly you want to do it. You could try going to some of the skyscrapers and asking to speak to management about taking photos from one of the top floors. What I mean is, try going through the 'official' channels. You never know, they might be OK with it - there just might be some red tape to get through.

I can see why! It turns out beautifully! I really like that you don't overdo them and nothing is outlined in white shadows.

Keep it up!
