I used HDRist Free program, it offers "strength" and allows you to align the photos that's it.

I used LR4 for pre merging processing then took the 3 images into Photomatix pro. Nothing special.

If you click on the pic I think that links you to flickr.

I'm just a rank amateur compare to you guys on here. I'm having fun learning tho.

I don't do a lot of HDR, but I played around with a shoot the other night at a vineyard in Maryland. I processed the shots using HDR Efex Pro 2 and did some other modifications with Topaz plugins.

Thanks, this is actually one of the "wilder" HDR styles I do, maybe that's what tickles your fancy! But I like to show you that this effect would not be possible without HDR, you need HDR to be able to capture the intricacies of the design there above the door, lit up at night.
