Hey guys. Sorry haven't been around in here much lately. Would love to see some more pictures from you guys and more people as well. Here are a few I have taken recently:
![](http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn220/golovemd/HDR%20Pics/Barn21024x768.jpg)
I did a motion blur obviously in photoshop when I finished with the HDR pic. I still have to smooth the edges around the car, as you can see a sort of ghosting to the image.
![](http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn220/golovemd/Car/Audirims2.jpg)
Not the best pic to start with. I took this before I got my autofocus lenses, and the bee was moving faster then I could focus. Still decided to process it, if nothing else, then for practice:

Some nice work. I've not been able to get the hang off using Photomatix, I d/l Essential HDR to see how well I can work with it, haven't tried it yet. A couple have said they like it better than Photomatix. The last couple I did, I just used CS4, but I'm not happy with them.

Great Shots Drigo. It's amazing how a good shot can turn an otherwise mundane and boring setting into something eye popping and appealing.

I'm not really sure, the thing that messes with me most is making changes. You can make changes and then click in between tone mapping and the other choice (sorry don't have it open) and what you did disappears. So I get confused.
I'm going to be with someone this weekend, I'm going to ask for a little help, if that doesn't work. I'm going to take a class just for HDR with Photomatix.

Well I tried again using Essential HDR, much better, much easier. The subject had some movement and it shows.

Ok, so I took a HDR workshop yesterday, it cleared up a couple of things for me. The guy (Chris Alvanas) who instructed the workshop happens to be published in the June 2009 edition of Shutterbug. http://www.shutterbug.com/techniques...ues/0609moody/ He takes it to an extreme that most don't like, but I do.
I hope to have a few to post here shortly.

OK, How are you bringing in one file in Photomatix? RAW to jpeg or 8 or 16 bit tiff? Or??

Very nice, the guy that gave the workshop is doing a project right now using jpeg's from his iphone, but he said it was just the one image.
That lilly pad was using only CS3's "HDR" controls. I can't wait to start into this. Going to have to buy another effing external drive. Needing 5-7-9 images for some of this
.
I just posted some stuff I shot yesterday in the NOT jpeg thread, I'll run those same through when I using Photomatix.

I do the same technique as Drigo, which makes sense since he offered me the most help in getting me started. I find it easy with the best results.
I bought a 1 terabyte network drive when I started getting more into photography. The thing has really slowed down lately. Have to see what's going on with it.
