The structure of the rocks could be toned back a little, but I like the water and the depth of the scene.

do you mean the details of the rocks? i think i had the micro smoothing slider too far to the left in Photomatix and/or the clarity tab too far to the right in LR3..thanks for the feedback...i'll mess with it again...

Those are both very nice. I like the colors on the first one and how the clouds draw you into the horizon. Also, the way the clouds sort of mirror the rocks on the second one is great. They both lack sharpness though - probably your compression/hosting.

well, kinda. I checked Picasa 3 and didn't find a good resizing way.

I would recommend downloading Gimp (its free)... here is how you resize in Gimp:
