+1 in CS4, all my panos seem to turn out pretty well and all my recent ones have been handheld. I will admit i've been reviewing them on a 10" screen so I might be missing some details.
yes much! I can't remember if I upgraded from CS2 or 3, but the merge in 4 was much improved. Like I said good enough to do handheld panos with no problem. That's mostly what I use PS for now. I think about upgrading to CS5 because I've heard the HDR processing is much better as well, not to mention all the content-aware stuff
Sony NEX-C3

(SR5) Continually updated: Hot! This is the Sony NEX-C3 (and new external flash)!

FInally we found the first pictures of the new NEX-C3!!! It has exactly the same Sony A55 sensor with 16.2MP and HD video. There is als a new external flash! I like the new design and you? it’s a bit more professional than the NEX-3 layout (P.S.: See the NEX-3 at Amazon, Adorama, B&H, J&R, eBay).
That camera was supposed to be announced on April 4th along the new Sony A35 (which has been delayed too). But due the recent earthquake-tsunami-nuclear disaster it has been delayed. We don’t know yet when Sony will announce both cameras. But we know Sony already planed a new press release in May so maybe….let’s cross the finger!
Reminder: The NEX-7 will be announced in July and we already gave you the first specs yesterday (Click here to read the article). If you have some rumor to share contact me at sonyalpharumors@gmail.com or use the anonymous contact form on the right sidebar. And invite your friends to follow us! More pictures below (with the new silver model too). Mugen from Alphaforum copied the pictures found on photobucket before they got removed. Smart move guys!

I USED to like Sony
I just can't find much compelling about them now. I'm a Nikon shooter and love Apple hardware, they don't fit into my life anymore even though they still have some good looking stuff.
I take that back...I've always purchased Sony TVs and will continue to do so.

Ugh! This bites! There's a harbor I really like photographing that's about 30+ minutes away, it wasn't raining when I left, but there were some awesome rolling clouds, I get there and its pouring rain
My camera body is weather sealed but my lenses aren't. What a waste of gas

1. Fixed a rare phenomenon in which there were rare cases where movie files taken could not be opened when repeatedly shooting movies with specific CF cards.
2. Fixed a rare phenomenon in which there were cases where "Err 02" appeared when repeatedly shooting still images with specific CF cards.
3. Fixed a phenomenon that occurred when using high-capacity (32 GB or greater) CF cards: If either a CF card with only a little available space remaining or the battery was removed and then reinserted into the camera, and then the user attempted to start shooting movies immediately, shooting would stop.
4. Improved the writing/reading speeds when using UDMA 7-compatible CF cards.
5. Fixed a phenomenon that occurred when custom function C.Fn 4-1 was set to assign IS start to the AF stop button on the lens: When used with lenses that do not have an AF stop button, the IS function would not work.
6. Corrected some mistakes in the menu screens displayed in Arabic and Portuguese. (This applies to models in overseas markets. The models for the Japanese market do not display those languages.)
The Version 1.2.5 firmware being released this time is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.2.4. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.2.5, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Note that cameras with the Version 1.2.5 firmware (and also Versions 1.2.0 through 1.2.4) cannot be downgraded to a previous firmware version (such as Version 1.1.0 or earlier).

just curious what y'all would prefer if you had to chose between: 85mm f1.4 or 135mm f1.8? (on a FF, with portraits in mind)

Stolen Camera Search Engine Crawls the Web for Serial Numbers

The Stolen Camera Finder is a new search engine developed over the past two years by programmer Matt Burns. His idea is to search the web for photographs that have a stolen camera’s serial number embedded in the EXIF information. It uses two web crawlers — the first is a standard one that accesses Flickr’s API, while the second is a Google Chrome browser plugin that silently runs in the background and peeks at the serial numbers of images on any webpage viewed. These serial numbers and URLs are stored in a database, and if you’d like to volunteer your browsing for this you can download the Chrome plugin here.
