That's good to know, it use to take you to a screen that showed how many users on flickr were using that camera and the ranking of the camera per users.

That's cool, simple. Looks great. I hate it when I see something I like and I ask the photographer how the flash was setup and the reply with a drawing or schematic. It's like ..."Ugh...too much effort" lol

Just bought an inexpensive radio transmitter, for my flash, from Amazon. It's not ETTL, but manual only. Since I very rarely use my flash, mainly because I really don't understand it, I figure this will be a tool to help me be more comfortable with it. Some of the photos seen here in AZ have inspired me to delve into it with more enthusiasm

there are photos in any kind of weather, you just have to take advantage of it, but I agree sometimes it's a little tough. I think gray flat skies are the worst, but I'm also not a fan of clear blue skies either...the sky needs some clouds.

Did you check the event log or any other logs?
Have you tried running it as administrator? I had an issue in the Win7 VM that I run on my MBA where PS CS2 wouldn't start and threw a similar error. It ended up being the registration/activation failing because of permissions.

A word of advice when switching from the lower models to the 1series.

The exposure meter is on the right side of te viewfinder.
I still tend to forget.
