I wonder if he deleted his shit because I found his sexual history
Funny thing is, didn't even look, sometimes just the fear of having something out there makes you go into hiding.
Any of you guys actually dig?

The sex offender thing? I guess I pictured him a lot younger. Like maybe 14.... Not sure that was him.

Living the Dream
My parents came for the weekend and they handed me an old camera bag.
It had a Canon T70, 35-70 and 70-200(210) lenses, and a 277T flash.
Put in some fresh batteries and a roll of film and it seems to work like a champ.
One cool thing about the flash is that it works on my 70D.

I started using it again a couple weeks ago - it's pretty fun! They seem to love night cityscapes.
Haven't had any invites like that Matt, it sounds like it might be an opportunity. Just be wary of the fine print.

During the week, most people are getting out of town. So that'll be a plus. But there is metered street parking, not on the main roads like PennAve or Constitution. But the numbered streets that connect to them. Consitution and 17th is a good place to park for metered parking.
You could park in the lots near Maine Ave or along Ohio Dr as well.

Camera raw 8.4 has been released.

http://fstoppers.com/adobe-announces...ase-candidates
Adobe Raw users rejoice! We have a list of new release candidates for you to take a look at. With known issues going around with Camera Raw, it is nice to see some updates getting pushed live. Adobe has also updated their software to recognize new cameras, like the Rebel T5, the Nikon D4S (yup, the unreleased camera is indeed on there) and the new Panazonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 among others.
Along with the release candidate there is a new preview mechanism for better before and after image comparisons. This is great for anyone even if they did not notice any issues with this before. One of the more different updates that I’ve seen is the new “Pet Eye Correction” which can apparently correct bright pupils in animals with the Red Eye Tool. Animal lovers rejoice? On top of all that, there will be an improved set of color matching profiles for Fujifilm X-Trans cameras which corrects issues reported from the Camera Raw 8.3 release.
So, what cameras are actually on the release list?
Canon EOS 1200D (REBEL T5, KISS X70)
Casio EX-100
DJI Phantom
Fujifilm X-T1
Hasselblad H5D-50c
Hasselblad HV
Nikon D3300
Nikon D4S
Olympus OM-D E-M10
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS40 (DMC-TZ60, DMC-TZ61)
Phase One IQ250
Samsung NX30
Sony Alpha a5000 (ILCE-5000)
Sony Alpha a6000 (ILCE-6000)
You read that right: the Nikon D4S is indeed on that list, which means we can probably expect an official announcement any time now.

I miss my 03 CL-S :(
Sounds like a good excuse to come back. Maybe around late March when the blossoms are out? March 24th there'll be the kite festival, which is always a fun time, especially if you have little ones.

I just wish there was an easier way to get into DC. 95 is a disaster traffic wise. I just want to be sure the water features are running.

A friend of mine who works for a community legal services organization just asked if they could potentially use a few of my pictures of the desert/Phoenix area on their new website. Pretty cool. I have been trying to find a non-monetary way to help them out and this is a nice (and flattering!) way to do it.
For those of you who have allowed use (without charging), is there anything I need to do release-wise (they are sending one) to ensure I am still allowed to hang it on the wall of my office or home? I really don't anticipate ever trying to sell any of them, although I will probably be "donating" the use of the pic for tax purposes.

Also, regarding taxes and photo donations..sadly, my CPA told me that only the hard costs could be written off. When I've donated canvases, the material cost (not the value I would sell them for) could be written off, but when I've donated files, I could only write off the cost of a disk and/or shipping. Nothing at all if I emailed or dropboxed the file. Even in the case of donating an entire shoot, I could only write off gas and parking.

Then again the 1D can handle it. NEX-6, not so much.

Speaking of train tracks.., just heard on the news some 14yr old girl was killed by a train in the Bay Area
Shit happens when you're panicking to get away from the train.
Also the news article mentioned that he approaching train makes a vacuum effect that just sucks you in
