i dont mean to nag or sound like a "hater" but im sure im not alone when i say its actually making me LOSE interest. It's a car meet/show, not the rebirth of Jesus Christ. This is a planning thread. We can't plan anything if we don't know where the show is. At first it was stated that the venue wasnt 100% decided. Well now the contracts are signed and its still being PMed to ppl?

And I dont think its personal not to let out information. I still havent gotten it yet.

I agree with you on this. He said the contracts are sign, so it should be good to go right? The date is already released, so why not release the other details? Can you just give us the "possible" location, and if there are any changes, you can notify us thru here? I'm not trying to be a dick either, I just prefer to have an idea of where it's at so I can somewhat plan for it myself.

There definitely shouldn't be any reason to lose interest.
These guys are doing a lot of work to cover and consider everything
From personal experience planning meets...giving out info prematurely can create a whirlwind of confusion if it has to be changed later.
We still got so much time......

less that 2 months is not a lot of time for an event of such magnitude. if we want a huge turnout with caravans from all over, people need to know where this thing is. is it a place where we all bring our own food? we need to start planning who brings what. is it a place where they sell expensive food? the younger kids need to know to start saving up money, etc.
is for what?

None really beside the name of the venue. Im good with wating... it gives me something to look forward to. What else am I supposed to do at work besides check for updates on here lol.

well, for me personally, my car is still in the shop, with a lot of work left to go. Would i pay my shop extra money to push to have my car done by the acurafest if it was a bbq at a park? probably not. will i at this resort its now planned for? helllll yea!
