basically what mrdeeno said. ive test driven G and M and played with the navi and its at arms length. dont have to lean forward to reach it at all.

Yikes, no WAY! The Tribeca's distinction is the unique grille. I don't see a trace of that snout here.

Can someone explain Infiniti's attraction to the retro analog clock? I just don't get that especially when there's generally already a digital time display on the navi screen.

what is there to get?

it's the same reason why porsche keeps the ignition on the left of the steering wheel, or the same reason why saab's ignition is in the center console, or why BMW has kidney shaped grille openings....it's part of their signature.

Damn, you beat me to this post. I agree 100%. It's part of what makes Infiniti an Infiniti. They've put it in every vehicle they've ever produced. The other car makers who have discovered this feature are lifting it from Infiniti. Also, there's really nothing "retro" about it. Analog clocks were around way before digital ones, lol.

I actually love Infiniti's analog clock, especially in the new G35 and G37, it gives it a nice touch.

Um, you care to re-read what you typed and think about the meaning of retro?

I think the analog clock looks like crap, myself. It's out of place and interrupts the flow of the dash, controls and gauges.

at least nissan has the balls and takes chances with putting stuff in their cars not really seen in other car companies.

kind of a neat feature to have an analog clock there when you are waiting in the car with the engine off and the digital clock is not seen.

Again, the interior color combination is superb and luxurious, and rivals even the best Lexus design.

Really happy for Infiniti with this one. They totally nailed it.

What's the shiny trim on the window switches? Is it carbon fiber?

I would get that EX35 in black, looks meaner or the diamond graphite color.

Now if I can get one with just a sunroof and the AWD for $33-35K I'll be happy because I may just use the TSX as the down payment.

Disappointed that they're waiting until Dec. to release it though. Why??

October would make more sense.

So it doesn't steal the G37's thunder, and to keep the momentum and spotlight on Infiniti. Once the G37 has been released and the hype has died down some, then Infiniti released the EX bringing the attention back on Infiniti.

Possible TSX replacement for me as well. I just can't help but at Honda for coming up with the RDX while Infiniti releases this thing. The EX is 1000x times better as far as looks and specs go IMO.

would you also wait Dom until mid-year 2008 when all the bugs are worked on the EX before buying it? that would be ironic if both of us end up with the same car again. to me this is a G35 that is higher up and has more space. i just hope that the fuel economy won't be as bad as the RDX is.

Really loving the real world pics. The head rest thing is interesting... I agree with secstac. Looks like a leather covered coat hanger.

That EX in black is totally amazing! I wonder why Infiniti used that lighter color as their main featured vehicle at Pebble Beach? The black one is so much hotter!!!

NICE!…but doesn’t look practical for the guy who likes to pretend he’s in a sports car during his commute but haul stuff from Pottery Barn or Home Depot on the weekend. It looks like it lacks cargo space. The RDX seems more ideal, but it doesn’t look as sexy.
