It began with the RDX and I see now the MDX has it as well.

great pic!! now i can see what all of that stuff is on the steering wheel.
like the gauges, but it's not as hot as the G35/G37 gauges. hope they can change that to more blue.
appears to have some functions on those 2 chrome buttons, but it looks clear they aren't paddle shifters.
but that leather dashboard is hot! (imo)

Here's a couple of videos, one from Motor Trend and the other interviewing the Chief Designer.

I don't care if there are a lot of changes for the production model...but if they could only keep those gauges!!!

That interior would be HOT in black with tasteful and sparingly applied dark wood trim!!

It is targeted towards female buyers...

Thank you so much for the great links! It's interesting to hear from Nissan's Chief Designer that the EX Concept is aimed towards female buyers, while the FX is aimed towards male buyers. Actually, I don't care what their target market is, I personally much prefer the more subtle and more elegant EX than the FX!
BTW, Garnet, I love your G35! Is that red color metallic or flat?

Maybe that's why the EX color concept was white and had a white interior to draw attention to a female audience
Well, if i got the EX35, I want it either in blue slate/black interior or black/black. True masculine colors (imo)
So does that mean the RDX and X3 are marketed towards females too?

And thanks for the compliment on my G. Garnet Ember is a metallic red and really has two personalities. It looks like a bright red in the sunlight, and a deeper red during cloudy/nightime conditions. It's a great color IMO, but Infiniti's Ivory Pearl was a very close second.

What are the chances too that they'll keep the leather dash?

^ things might change. The new Cadillac CTS production model has leather covered dash...GM has figured out a way to bring it to this price class, I'm sure others will follow.

Here's some new pics of the Infiniti EX35 under black camouflage from leftlanenews. I'm excited that it says that the EX35 might have the G37 engine
http://www.leftlanenews.com/future-infiniti-ex.html
Looks nice, but why does it seem really low? Just looks like long G35 sedan to me if it's that low.
I still might trade in the TSX for this maybe. This EX35 still looks better than the RDX (imo).

Wow. It's very close to the concept, which is a good thing. It seems to be only slightly smaller than the FX, which bodes well that the next gen FX will grow a bit. The height does seem a tad low. I wonder if that's just a preproduction mule thing; or, perhaps it'll remain that low to help it's assured handling dynamics. Then again, it could just be good camo... it doesn't look much lower thant he Porsche next to it.

Hopefully that's just for testing. Otherwise it's gonna be something like the Kia Rondo...tall cabin, but low stance.
