I put my deposit down at Palm Beach Acura. They got me the info on the A Spec before Rick Case and Delray Acura.

 

Did they have any A-Spec photos or pricing estimates?

 

No photos or estimates. I had to inform the salesperson what the A Spec package was but then he took the ball and ran with it.

do you know the difference between the body kit we have photos for and the aspec version? is the aspec version more subtle?

 

No, I dont know the difference. I like the look of the kit in the photos(except for the color) so I will be happy if it's the same. I would imagine it would be more subtle but either way is fine for me.

I got my build date today: 10/21-10/25 with delivery within 2 weeks thereafter, including the A Spec package. Time keeps on ticking....

I doubt there is any difference. Why is that people are saying they are different anyway? I never read anything saying it would be different. Besides, what's the point in having two aero kits? I don't see it happening. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see.

Rick Case Acura just called and informed me they will have an Anthracite/Quartz Auto Spec A by mid-October!!! Looks like I wont have to wait until mid-November.

Has anyone else heard of A Spec being available so soon?

 

From the first reports of the ride and drive last week, they were saying the cars with body kits weren't aspec. The idea going around was that maybe the aspec has its own body kit, and what we have been seeing was just the dealer added accesories...there was the different steering wheel that was missing and started the guesses. I don't know either to tell the truth. I was hoping there was a difference.

 

I thought the A-Spec is a package that is installed by the dealer? So it should just be a matter of when said package is available to the dealer.

Well, I guess there has to be some mystery left, other than prices, before they arrive!

A Spec is a dealer installed package. This dealer is the first I know of to have one available.

According to justin, it does not. I doubted it would the moment I read it on the Edmunds review and expressed that doubt in another thread. Seems I was correct. Could still be hacked though

 

I wish it would play movies. It would be great is someone comes up with a hack.

 

And the guy who would come up with the mod would be RICH!
