One needs to learn to drive differently if that happens. (also if you turn the wheel and the car goes straight it doesnt matter what wheel drive it is, you are past the limit of adhesion, now its different if while the wheel is turned you give it gas and it starts to change direction and go straight)

wait nevermind.. knowing Kimchi, it will look more like this:

Hardly. Didn't say anything there that I haven't said before. Sometimes I like to repeat myself on the rare instance that Mike ACKavetti might be lurking on this forum with some power and influence to actually do something about it.
But since I just listed five complaints, here are some things Acura is doing right:
1. My MDX and TL are top safety pick+ which I value as a family guy.
2. I won't take a complete bath come resale time.
3. Jewel eye signatures are very effective upgrades.
4. My dealer service experience is excellent (unlike the crappy ratings Benz and Audi dealers get in my area).
5. Acura builds most of their cars in 'Merica.

Despite all your valid points, the sum of the parts are better than the whole. Acura seems to be uniquely qualified at doing most things well and turning out a bland product.

I've seen a few tlx's on the road now, and to me they look like a return to pre-4g tl acura. they look smaller and more muscular that the 4g.
funny to see that the negative opinions didn't go over so well in the tlx section!

I was driving behind one yesterday. I think it was a 2.4. Why did they get rid of the exhaust tips when you can clearly see the ugly mufflers from behind the car? I'd rather have a nice exhaust tip with a neat bumper cutout then a raw steel muffler. It just screams cheap.

A dealer up here East of Toronto is already selling the TLX. From these photos, it just looks like a bigger ILX.

^ Already? They're not supposed to be available in Canada yet?
Also, those are possibly the ugliest factory wheels I've ever seen.

It's like the design department had a contest for the new wheel design, got down to two finalists and, because everyone at Acura gets a medal, decided to put both designs on one wheel.

If you park a 2G MDX next to a 3G, you'll see exactly what I mean. The light output and throw pattern are remarkable improvements over Xenon HID projectors. Having owned both, I'll take the 3G.
In the city with plenty of ambient light, it's probably not a big deal. But during drives up to cottage country on moonless, rainy nights - the jewel eyes are awesome. Henceforth, LED headlights are a must have for me.

I wasn't really speaking for the styling of the jewel eyes since it is a subjective measurement. Was strictly comparing the light quality and upgrade from a safety aspect for peeps like me with less than stellar night vision.

You don't have moonless or rainy nights? Do you live in outer space?
The automotive press has been extolling the benefits of new LED headlights (from Acura and Audi), and I can't see how better vision at night is useless for anyone.

Add in Mercedes. The LED headlights on the S-class are fantastic.

Add Mercury, Porsche, Toyota (Corolla, Prius, numerous Lexii) to that list. There's plenty of cars out there with LEDs, with varying degrees of implementation, and the output is far better then it was five years ago.
They design itself looks OK on the MDX, but the lights are too narrow on the TLX. They make the car look like its squinting, especially next to the walrus-like nose.

Moonless? or not it makes no difference driving in LA.

If you never venture outside the city lights, you don't need a car.
The smog alone affects visibility at times...and that's the main point; visibility. Technology marches on-- you're the only one here claiming better visibility is of no use...and who is propping up silly arguments against something that every review has praised -- from several manufacturers.

I've lived in LA. Unless you're two years old, you've seen rainy nights there.

2. quote me, where/when did i EVER say better visibility is no use? However, driving in LA with all the street lights, the difference between HID and LED are not very noticeable if any, other than color.
3. If you want to get into LED vs. HID. Show me how LED actually has better output than HID? The color is whiter but it does not mean it has better output. It takes a lot for LED to have comparable output as HID, simply because of the limitation of LED output pattern. You may say you had HID before and it does not seem to be as good as LED. Maybe that is true. but you have to understand not all HID are not the same. Example, G35 HID is crap, worse than most of the Halogen bulbs, while S2000's HID has better visibility than every LED equipped car i have driven. (Audi, 4 series, E-Class, Prius).
4. You don't need a car in LA if you don't venture outside the city? it does not sound like you ever lived in LA before.

^tl projectors are also highly rated. there's a member in the 3g forum doing a jewel-eye retrofit, and the output is better than tl projectors.
