No worries, Acura Press Release says it will be the opposite layout for the NSX. More info here:

I can just see Acura's marketing department...taking a cue from Honda's CRAVE spin on the CR-V...

RELAX

Frankie Goes to Hollywood sings their popular 80s hit as hoards of adoring fans jump at the chance to drive Acura's new luxury car.

Which is appropriate given the 80s is when Acura's flagship was last relavent.

...
WTF Acura

Did this really quick. Had to adjust the color as well because the cream look doesn't do the car any favors. The tail lights remind me of the new GS.

Rear seat door/area looks much larger than current RL. I like the "C" pillar design

Oh noes
Side profile is meh.
The front end/grille looks like the beak lives on.
Getting a bit too long on the front overhang.
The wheels....April Fools?

Bottom Line:
Genesis Sedan wins again.

Other than the wheels, this RL fan says it looks GOOD.

At the Temple of VTEC, there are already images of the car under a very thin layer of fabric. It is clearly what TSX69 posted above, down to the wheels. It reminds me of the LS400 series. I love the Big Lex's style and I like this too.

Acura didn't screw it up! Yippee! Now let's hear about the tech.

Those wheels had better not make it to production, though.

Given their history with wheels, I am betting that the concept wheels end up about 2-sizes smaller as an optional item and that the regular production wheels will be something different and exceedingly plain and boring.

What do Honda/Acura transmissions and wheel designs have in common?

They should both be outsourced to another mfg. to design & produce.

No doubt. But whoever thought it was a good idea to put those wheels on the concept should be shown the door. They are absolutely terrible. And considering who a car like this is aimed it, no idea how they thought those were a good idea. Granted its minor, but its still apparent there are some poor decisions being made at Acura.

Lets see what the rest of it looks like before saying anything else.

BTW - where you been? Seems like its been awhile.

I'm holding out hope that Acura put together a great interior on this car.

No button madness...please!!!
Hold the grey plastic to a minimum

Looking at the TOV pictures it looks just like a long wheel based version of an ILX.

That's why if you buy a Honda/Acura, you have to budget for a set of aftermarket wheels..........lol

Yeah, it looks like Acura is following the product line of the 3/5/7 where they are very similar in styling with size variation. That's worked very well for them for the past 4 decades.

that's what I thought too..... like a stretched ILX. I guess that's the new Acura design direction... feels like a generation behind Lexus

All wheel steering!

It may be time to start saving for one.

Available beginning of 2013.

Not ready to announce pricing yet.
