you should not need the little controler... from what i have heard the s630 should work with the stock headunit.... meaning that you will be able to control the changer with the stock headunit...

you dont need an RF changer... in fact, thats the wrong way to go in a honda/acura... when you use the modulator to send the audio through the radio, you lose sound quality... with honda/acura decks you can get readily available adapters to use alpine changers. Everything just plugs in and the changers controls are handled by the buttons on the stock deck. So theres no add-on displays... everything maintains the stock appearance and control. The s630 changer would be the one you want... or any older Alpine changer with an "M" in the model #, like "CHM-XXXX".

well, you could ditch the rf modulator and just hook up the changer directly.

Does this mean though that the stock head unit will be able to control navigating through the folders on the MP3 CD? CD text?

How can I keep the RF out of the loop and still use the controller display unit that comes with the changer? I don't get it.

when you buy the rf changer from alpine you simply get a 630 plus the rf and controller, of course you need to buy the honda adapter from blitz, pie etc to make it work on the tl

you wont use the controler, the controler will be your factory headunit. <---(you will have to buy the blitzsafe adapter)

Read above. The whole reason I'm NOT using the factory controller is because I can't navigate easily through my MP3's and it doesn't display CD text.

Plus, the Blitz adapter is another $100 that I don't want to spend.
