Replace Bose Stereo

I have some general questions for some of you who have replaced their stock system. First of all what are the speaker sizes for all around the car? I figure its a 6x9 in the rear deck, and 6 1/2 in the doors? not sure what size the tweeters are and would like to just comfirm all of this anyways. Also, has anyone installed their own stereo? I want to replace the 6x9's in the rear deck and was wondering if i could just do so without adding an amp. I changed my speakers in my old accord, and want to know if its that easy to do in the CL. I heard the Bose stock amp is 150 watts? how many to each channel? Please give me some pointers cause i'm going to do this myself, and just want to make sure i don't mess up everything.

I appreciate it

All your questions can be answered in this thread - http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=51712

6.5 in fronts, 1" tweets, and 6x9s in the back. The bose amp is 25x4 at a very low impedance (~1ohm). If you change the speakers and run with the bose amp, your new speakers will have about 4 times LESS output due to the increase impedance. That is ~6W per channel now. You can get away with keeping the head unit, but you will need a line-level adapter to your amp for cleaner sound unless you don't mind hiss at low volumes. Ultimately, for best results I would gut everything b/c you're not saving that much cash but you are sacrificing A LOT of sound quality.
