what should i do?

ok, i've been deciding forever on what to get for my system. for my fronts i know i want focal polykevlar 165k2. the sub i'll probably get a jl 10w7, or a focal utopia w27 (10"). now the amps are giving me problems. i only want one 4 channel amp. i was looking at the brax x2400. brax is supposed to be a great company. they hand build their amps in germany. it runs 4x100 at 4 ohm, and 2x400 bridged. no rear speakers for me. that amp cost $1600. i was looking to get pheonix gold ti475 and the ti600 for the amp which will run me $1300 for both. what should i do?

yeah! get the PG, save you alot of moneys to spend other stuff.... The Brax is a very high end amp, only if you realy realy want it, and also Zapco is a good amp too. You get 2 Zapco amps you still save your money. I rather have 2,3,4 amps in my trunk than one, it looks more like a system. goodluck

I'd ditch the W7 and go with the new IDMAX. Also, if you need focal and zapco, possibly Brax, I have a hookup on all that stuff. Amazing system you're putting together.

Talk to these guys about Brax. I have the Helix Precision HXA-500Q and it rocks. Same quality as the Brax, but cheaper. HP another model from Brax/Helix.

helix is the cheaper brax. thanks for the advice. 4pumpedCL if you can pm with the prices please. the thing is too, that i want flexibility and expandibility. with two pg amps i should be set, but damn the brax is a freaking bad ass amp, and it should be more than enough for now.

You should go with the Helix...it's a poor mans Brax. I have the 4 channel one. can't remember the model #. But it's GOOD SHIT man. I use it to power my Two 10" s. Got it around $450.
