what do you think about focal polyglass?

im looking at a 6.5" 3-way polyglass comp set (165 v3E for you pro's) im wondering what people think of them....compared to q-series mb quart??? i want more mid bass...thats why im considering these speakers....i like the clearity of my mb's, but they are a bit bright...keep in mind i am gonna keep the mb's and put em in the back...with the focal upfront...what do you think? FYI- i can get the focals for 320$....good deal?

I've never really eard anything bad about the Polyglass series.....and yes that is a good price!. The best sounding components that I heard were the JL's that I bought (XR 650 CSs)....and the just came out with the ZR series. I listened to them...then compared them to MBs, Pioneers, Alpine and Kickers....and the JLs were the best.

i had a set of polyglass 2 ways in my cl and they sounded ok. VERY bright. Good response and clarity, but not a very full sound. Maybe the 3 ways would be better??? I just put in a set of Boston Pro's in the doors, and they sound a ton better than my focal 2 ways.

Also look at CDT Audio. www.thezeb.com is unloading their products at cheap prices. My HD63s pump out some amazing mid-bass. Ron @ StreetEffectz who installed them was amazed how good they sound. Compared them to the high-end Focals.

The Bostons have much more mid bass than my focals. I bought them off a buddy of mine in new condition for $225. I'm happy with my purchase!
