I have '97 2.2 with the plain boring audio console and I've seen photo's of other people's cars and it looks like there's two other ones that were available and I'd like to swap mine out for a different one. I've also broken my ash tray twice trying to put it in after reading codes and since I just broke it again the other day and decided that instead of buying another ash tray for a console I hate. I may as well get one of the nicer ones.

Can you guys post photos and possibly links to where I could pick up a new or gently used one?

im confused as to what your asking? are you asking if theres a different type of center console? if so, theres two types..the 97 and 98-99. The 98-99 is the full woodgrain one. I hope i answered your question..

That's what I'm looking for. I thought that I've seen 2 versions with the woodgrain. Mine is a '97 with just the plain plastic console and no woodgrain.

I've checked the local junk yards with no luck. Either they don't have a 1st gen CL or it's been pretty well stripped.

yeah, theres only 2 setups, the 97 and 98-99. some with the 98-99 wrap the woodgrain in vinyl or paint it. you could always buy it off of acuraautomotiveparts but im not sure how much theyll kill you on that one.. check ebay too.
