im tryin to figure out where this is because i'd like to do my own install. Finding and splicing to this vss sensor sounds like the hardest part.


btw- connection to the vss is necessary for gps nav.

 

i found the easiest place to tap this wire is in the instrument cluster connectors.

it can be found in Connector C Pin 2 a Blue/White Wire

Connector C is the middle Connector 14 Pins Total.

This is for a 00-03 tl. the 99 have to connect differently

Vehicle Speed Sensor = VSS.

Look right above your gas pedal. You'll see your cruise control module. Unplug it. In the harness you will see a blue wire with white stripe. That is your VSS wire. Enjoy!
