Nooooo. Sony sucks on car systems. Just like Bose. Go with an Alpine Type-R system. I'll post links and stuff later. I'm sleepy.

If you want something high-end check out Morel or Dynaudio. There are lots of other high-end manufacturers but those the two I feel are best.

The regular "popular" speakers like Polk, Alpine, Pioneer, Rockford, JL will all sound pretty decent, but nothing audiophile quality.

And ghettoninja Bose car systems don't suck, the budget they are given for the sound system varies greatly. The budget that Honda/Acura has given them in the past hasn't left them with a lot of creative space. Go listen to the system in a G37 or the Scaglietti if you ever have the opportunity, you'll be blown away.

Front: Alpine Type-R's 6.5 components
Rear: Alpine Type-R's 6x9 coaxials
Amp: Alpine MRP-Mxxx
Sub: Alpine 12" Type-R
www.alpine-usa.com

I wanted a Type-R system but they wouldn't fit.

or could get 2 JL Audio W3s and a good amp.
