Vafc???

I asked this question a long time ago but I wondering is it possible to wire an Apexi VAFC to a 2002 TL-S. Will i be able to lower vtech? Will any warning lights come on?

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Not if you tune it properly

Note: Unless you get the Frog Engine controls wiring harness, you'll have to splice into the ECU's wiring harness. I bought the Frog harness and it's plug and play. They are gonna cost $$$

I think they run in the $200 - $300 range. I bought mine so long ago I can't remember what I paid. You need to really have someone dyno tune it. I just set a few settings on it. I'm gonna have it tuned in the Spring.

Go for it Drew, just don't expect more than a couple of HP gain. Our cars are tuned very well from the factory and unless you are going FI or nitrous, you aren't gonna benefit from the VAFC.
