TSX remote wire doesn't turn off with the headunit?

For some reason I'm tapping the yellow/green wire at the amp harness and it's not turning off when I turn the headunit off. Is this normal? Does the TSX not have a remote lead that turns off when the headunit power is off?

Yes that’s correct. The “remote” lead is hot whenever the ACC power is on. The voice command system needs the amp so the amp has to be on anytime the voice command, nav or Bluetooth is active.

on a schematic posted in one of the stickys, pin 7, yellow/green, was labeled "wire antenna coil" and connected to common 1 (I think). If its hot when the h/u is off, mercman must be onto something.

I don't understand what exactly the stock amp does with this pin. Does it act as a remote turn on? does it also act as an FM antenna amplifier. I've heard mention of poor fm reception. Does this happen in units that don't use the stock amp? There may be an intended circuit block attached this yellow/green wire that new amp installations fail to satisfy. if so Maybe its just conspiracy theory... any thoughts? Does anyone know what the stock's amp looks like inside?

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I had the right wire. Btw, my radio reception is fine with an aftermarket amp.
