Security Protection in In-Dash NAVI

Given that In-dash Navis are exposed, what kind of security do you have to keep your systems from being jacked or broken in?

Tinted windows and prayer.

On a more serious note, an oem navi is MUCH harder to steal than an aftermarket slide-in (not saying it can't be done) but I haven't heard that many instances of it happening.

So what you're saying is, you have (or intend to buy) an aftermarket navi and are worried about security?

I was thinking to gut out the factory headunit and use the faceplate cover in the stock location. So to the thieves it would look like a factory unit is there when it's actually the aftermarket navi unit. (Just a thought I don't know if that is possible)

The guys that do the custom fab work on the double din kits. Maybe if we press them enough we can ask them to try and create a security face plate for out double din units.....
