I have had many sets from Hidextra and never had a problem. One of my kits in our 08 civic is going on 2 years or maybe 3 years old now. My Tl is around 6 months. Excellent quality. I am willing to bet most of these issues are install issues.

i say the deals are pretty awesome alongside their customer service.
the only thing is i had to swap connector pins to make them work right on my drivers side. (blew 2 fuses cuz of that)
install was easy peesy, but my lights flicker every second or so. my supposed yellow lights shine green. like a lime.... not very pleasing to the eye at all. it seems like they are struggling to shine properly becuz for a quick mili second when i turn them on they are yellow.

i have 3 ballasts from hid extra, and they are all reacting the same green
if anyone knows my problem, please lmk

I'm having the same problem. Not getting the 5000k I ordered, which suppose to be a pure white. I'm getting a bluish 6000k color. Customer service is great, they sent me replacement bulbs to try to fix the problem. the bulbs did not make a difference, so they're send me some ballast next.

Bought in on the black friday deal. Got a kit for the fogs as well as a set for the headlights if/when they go. Didnt test the headlights, but as others mentioned, they yellow fogs do appear to give off a green glow at certain angles. While I was driving, I saw the reflection in a window & it looked yellow.

Overall, Im pleased. For the price and the customer service, cant beat it.

hey guys I need some help here or if anyone has installed these on a 2003 CL before. I just received my package not too long ago and it says I'm suppose to use D2R bulbs for my lows. When I actually took out my headlight, it looked like the 9005 model.

You think I can exchange for the correct bulb as it doesn't look like it will fit?

sounds like you took out your high beams instead.
your lows should be a d2r, an HID bulb will come out of it....
if your ballasts are fine on your cl then all you need to do is replace your bulbs if you wanted a different color

I just got a HID kit to fix my girlfriend's 03 Acura TL (bad ballast). I've looked up info on how to get the bumper off and get at the headlights that seems pretty straightforward. I noticed the manual that came with the kit talked about using 15A fuses instead of 20A which I think are used with the stock headlights. Is the installation as simple as swapping out the ballasts and replacing the bulbs and fuses or is there anything else I need to keep in mind?
