I received my d2r kit to retrofit into my 2003 acura cl type s. I called to ask if it was a straight up oem swap and the girl on the phone told me yes.....the kit will just plug in....i knew it wouldn't. One of the bulb harnesses was bad......so i needed to troubleshoot and then repair...cause I wasn't gonna be without my car!.... I had to solder the negative wire back in. It added over an hour to my install time and even though it was 3pm on the east coast they were not available to answer my call. Out of 5 stars i give them about 2.5....and thats only because the light really are nice when installed. Take it for what it is but they really should know a little more about their product and maybe test stuff before they ship. It would save evryone time!

I prdered a second kit for replacement parts and asked for an additional harness because the price was not coming out to $54 My harness repair is not 100% working so i need to fix it. I did take some pictures when the lights did work and hopefully my situation can be fixed!

Dont you mean driving lights are low beams. High beams will blind everyone in oncoming traffic.

Anyway i just ordered my set of 5000k bulbs from you guys, already got the confirmation email that it is shipped and cant wait to install it!! I need it quick especially since one of my headlights keeps going out so it pretty much dead. And my other bulb looks like a halogen now. Cant wait!!

Driving lights are on partial voltage and wattage, it clicks to full voltage/wattage once it gets dark (sensor), so most of the time it is a separate bulb aside from the low beam or high beam/fogs, etc. Thanks~

Just recently installed the new 5000k. Looks GREAT! I need to clean my headlights though to make it look cleaner. Is it weird that i hear a faint buzzing sound coming from one of them??

Just put the H3 style 3000k bulbs into my fog projectors. I will take some pics tonight and post them. The color is a great yellow, CU2MIKE's post shows the color very well.
I have 5000k D2S bulbs waiting to go in too. I will post pictures of them as well once I get them installed - which probably won't be for another 2 weeks or so
Both packages arrived quickly and in good shape. Like others have mentioned, I was worried that there was no kind of padding or anything, but everything works fine so far.

That's normal. At least I hope so, because all of my ballasts buzz.
