System replacement w/ Factory Nav

Has anyone changed their speakers and amps with the Factory Nav. Does it keep the Nav voice?...Does voice activation still work?

So long as take the signal from the headunit the nav voice still comes out the same way, only be careful with the sensitivity settings on your amp- I'd sugget you start low/soft and then increase it - I started a little high and that lady's voice about deafened me the first time I used it - voice activation is totally separate, not affected, works fine.

Or, if you go the line out converter route, as long as you get a signal from the driver's speaker too (not sure if it's the 6.5 or the tweeter - maybe someone else knows) it should work - I bypassed the amp and didn't have to think about it after that.

Cool thanks. that helped alot. I don't have to use a line out converter, with the amps i am using i can just extend the outputs of the radio and put RCA ends on them and plug them in...it will work great that way.
