UNCALD4: any recommendations on tuning for the bass frequencies? I'm having a hard time setting the crossover function for the sub in the PXA. Thanks.

Why do you need the 701 controller seperate? It looks really nice molded though.

Can you shut the BassLink's crossover off? If so you should set your PXA crossover at 80hz for the sub.

I will check on the basslink.

The PXA has a HPF and a LPF crossover for the sub. Which should I set to 80hz and what for the other one? Thanks Uncald4.

Very nice. I love the W-505 and the Alpine processor is a sweet piece of gear. I'm all about accent pieces, so like you, I would have installed the RUX also. When you're able, I would replace the sub with a custom built enclosure...JMO. Congrats!

Looks nice.

Question: I'm not familiar with the CL-S accessories, so are your climate control knobs stock? If not, where can I find them?

i would ditch the basslink and get a w6
if you just wanna add some bass into your system a w3v3 will suffice, but not if you're a basshead
I have two 12" W3v3's in a custom sealed enclosure, and it's right on the cusp of enough bass or just not enough bass. But i don't wanna spend the extra money to get brand new w6's so i guess i'll stick with them.
good work on the system tho and for the quality and cleanlyness of the work upfront, i think you need some custom trunk work in the back, just my

The High Pass Filter should be off for the sub. But the LPF should be @ 80hz.

These are custom made knobs by someone a few years ago. I dont' think they sell them anymore.

My whole goal was to maximize trunk space so I don' tthink I'll be needing any fancy custom work. I will be upgrading to a W3/6 inthe future. I'm not a basshead. I'm all about a clean sounding system.

One more thing, what if I can't shut off the crossover for the basslink? what should I set the crossover on the basslink to? and what about the LPF on the pXA?

^just get a w3v3 then, should be good enough for you.
And as far as custom trunk enclosures etc, most of the ones i've seen on here actually help to maximize trunk space.
Like sub enclosures being mounted in the back corners of the trunk, fiberglassed to fill up the space exactly.
Or false floor setups, which take away the spare but leave you with the same size trunk minus a few inches in depth (that's what i'm trying to finish soon).
and i've seen many different setups from uncald4, all of them taking up less space than a traditional box IIRC
but it's up to you, and with custom enclosures it can get quite costly, good luck

This is off topic but I'm trying to replace my heated seats and Cruise Control/Sunroof lights to light up blue, what type of bulb did you use? A bulb number or link would be great. Thanks.

I used 5mm led's, you can find them on ebay and it comes in a package of 50, 100 or more depends. Doesn't really matter what the mcd is, 5000 mcd and above should be good enough.
