I plan on building a custom box for (2) 10'' Polk Audio DX Subs, but wanted to know how many of you have your speakers facing down. I have seen a few TLs with the speakers facing towards the back seat and a few others the opposite way, but from my previous experiences facing them down always sounds better, but I wanted some opinions with the TL...am I missing something....thanks

Well I would go forward toward the trunk for looks. Otherwise I don't think there is a sound advantage as long as their is room for the speaker to flux.

Ok...cool. I am not really going for looks, so I will probably aim them down and then mount the amp on the top part of it. All I want is to add a little extra bass to the system and am now thinking of dropping in some tweeters for the front and rear to boost the highs.
why dont you build a band pass and port it through the rear deck where the stock sub is? i have been thinking about that but i am not sure if i want to lose the trunk space.
